It might feel like the people with the money are trying to destroy the fun of being a child, but remember that the children are our future. I do think that instead of removing swing sets they could have worked on other solutions. Maybe they could swaddle their kids in bubblewrap. Or possibly, they could limit the swings to a 15 degree arc of movement which would reduce the force of any unexpected contact to a light tap on the shoulder.
