Q: Road Trip Essentials For The Driver?

Q: Road Trip Essentials For The Driver?

A: I will assume that you mean a road trip of fairly substantial length. A one hour road trip doesn’t require much in the way of preparation other than a few moments in the bathroom before the trek begins. If you are anything like myself you won’t want to make time-consuming stops along the way. To avoid this you should pack some snacks to deal with those moments of sudden puckishness.

You will also need to bring drinks. These should be contained in resealable bottles. When you put fluids into your body they will eventually need to come back out. Your resealable bottles provide an excellent way to catch and store your liquid waste until you reach your destination. Female drivers will probably want to invest in a funnel for this purpose. For exceptionally long drives an adult diaper may be needed to avoid the dreaded pit stops.

If you are road tripping with passengers you need to slightly alter your survival kit. The first thing you should do is provide drinks for all your travelling companions. Those drinks should be laced with travel sickness medicine. This will make your friends drowsy. Once they are feeling the effects of the medicine you should turn on some slow, melodic music. They should quickly pass out leaving you in peace and your snacks should last a lot longer. You need to make sure your drinks are all energy drinks and mix them with caffeine pills. The trip would end pretty suddenly if you were accidentally lulled to sleep.

Follow these suggestions and you will reach your destination without the normal drama that happens when humans are crammed into small places together. And you will make it in record time. Enjoy!
