Q: Why do I continuously feel the need to eat?

A: Your body is an engine. And like any engine it needs fuel to run. That fuel is derived from the foods and liquids that we ingest. This is why you will continue to feel the need to eat several times a day for the rest of your life. At least, until we develop a way to fuel ourselves that doesn’t require us to eat large amounts of plant and animal material, which I suspect may be sometime in the future.

Thank you for your question.

Edit: Did you mean to ask “Why do I feel the need to eat continuously?” Because that is a completely different thing and could be an indication of some sort of problem. I am not a medical doctor, but I would guess it might have something to do with your metabolism. Of course, it may not be a physical problem at all. It could be a psychological issue, possibly involving your self-esteem. But I am not a mental health expert, either. You should probably talk to a M.D. about this.

I hope I have steered you in the right direction. And remember…
