Q: Why Does My Dog Lick Everyone That Comes To My House?

Q: Why Does My Dog Lick Everyone That Comes To My House?

A: Dogs are a domesticated derivative of wolves and a bit of the wolf remains in each one. Wolves eat meat, and what are humans made of? That’s right: meat. Dogs have been trained and bred not to eat us, but some part of their brains must realize that we are still pretty darn tasty. I have always found it very suspicious that “man’s best friend” falls instantly, unconditionally in love with almost any human that they meet. Doesn’t it make more sense that they are just so excited to see so much delicious meat walking around? We think it is so cute that they are always trying to give us “kisses” when they are actually just trying to get one more taste of our meaty flavor. Think about it.
